Project Overview
In 2023, Farmarea Industries installed the AMB Walnut Processing Line for a leading walnut producer in Georgia. This high-performance line automates walnut processing, maximizing efficiency, quality, and output. From hulling to sorting and packaging, the AMB line maximizes production while maintaining the integrity of the nuts.
Location
Georgia (Kakheti Region)
Timeline
Start Date: January 2023
Completion Date: April 2023
Scope of Work
Farmarea Industries installed the AMB Walnut Processing Line, including:
- Receiving Hopper TKD: Large volume unloading hopper with adjustable flow rate.
- Sticks Separator – SB2: Separates nuts from wood, branches, and leaves using a lamella system.
- Washer Huller 3m – L38: Versatile washer for fast and efficient removal of husks from walnuts.
Key Benefits of the AMB Walnut Processing Line
- Increased Production Speed: Capable of processing 1,000 kg of walnuts per hour, which leads to 48 tons of processed walnuts per week.
- Automated Sorting & Separation: The integrated sorting and separation systems improve the consistency and quality of the final product, ensuring only high-quality walnuts reach the market.
- Reduced Labor Costs: Automation of sorting, hulling, and packaging reduces the need for manual labor, leading to lower operational costs.
- High-Quality Yield: With improved cleaning and sorting, the line increases the yield of marketable walnuts, minimizing waste.
- Energy Efficiency: The line’s design maximizes energy use, offering eco-friendly production while lowering energy consumption and operational costs.
- Minimal Maintenance & Long Lifespan: Robust components and easy maintenance protocols ensure that the line operates smoothly for years with minimal downtime.
Processing Capacity
The AMB Walnut Processing Line processes 1,000 kg of walnuts per hour. This results in up to 48,000 kg (48 tons) of processed walnuts per week.
